We are taking our popular Robotic Process Automation and AI meetup event on the road this month, with a new location at WeWork Aldgate, and a new format.
90% of people think Artifical Intelligence will take half of all jobs. 91% of people don’t think theirs will be affected. Large firms are already applying significant automation to workforce management tasks, and algorithms are arguably more accurate than humans at identifying potential, building teams, assigning tasks, measuring performance and providing feedback.
Does this mean that jobs previously thought safe are guaranteed to disappear, and what will become of us humans. Will we be redeployed, or get to enjoy a utopian future of free time and relaxation while the robots look after the mundanity of work for us? On the other hand, will humans actually enjoy a world without work, or will the future be a dystopia, where we lead meaningless and miserable lives? Our panel will be discussing these topics and more, and allowing you to delve into the world of intelligent automation, cognitive computing, and the workforce in an informal setting.
Our panel chair is Andrew Burgess. Andrew is a thought leader, practitioner and strategic advisor in the AI and RPA space, and has been awarded “AI Champion of the Year”.
Terry Walby is the founder and chief executive at Thoughtonomy – an award winning SaaS based RPA and AI business – and has previously held senior roles at IBM, GE Capital and Computacenter, before becoming MD of automation specialist IPSoft
Andrew Anderson is CEO of Celaton and considered a pioneer in the commercial application of intelligent automation, artificial intelligence and machine learning
Karolin Nakonz is an Executive Partner at IBM, leading their Cognitive Process Automation practice, with a focus on driving change through the use of AI, Robotics and Analytics.
Kieran Gilmurray has over 25 years experience providing senior consulting and leadership to global businesses and is currently building a team of process automation experts at Pearson, as part of his role leading an emerging tech practice that includes RPA, AI and Blockchain.
We aim to provide an informal setting for thought leaders to discuss the latest trends, hype and commercial relaity of RPA / Intelligent Automation and AI. There is always lots of free beer, wine, tea, coffee and pizza and plenty of time for networking, meeting new people and catching up with familiar faces. We’d love to see you there.
To attend this unique event please join the Meetup group and also make sure you RSVP as soon as possible as spaces are limited.
